The Breadsmart Lame features an innovative dual-ended design: it fits both a curved and straight blade. Lames are used for scoring bread dough before it goes in the oven. The scoring is done for aesthetics, but also to ensure the loaf rises properly. Straight blades are great for simple, long slashes or for making intricate designs, and curved blades are ideal for making dramatic ears. Now you can get both in one handy tool! Includes a safety cap for added safety and 10 spare lame blades, each with 4 usable razor corners.
Each Kit includes:
- 1x Dual-Ended Lame with — Features a curved and straight end for scoring dough to get the perfect rise
- 10x Replacement Blades — Each corner is numbered 1 through 4 to easily keep track of dulled edges
